Happy Thanksgiving!

I have so much to be thankful for: my DH, family and friends.

This was my first visit to Oxnard this year! I've been away too long... Everytime I go home, something about Oxnard changes. Changes from new houseing developments to new shopping centers. It seems that the city will no longer be a farming community. It's a little sad. What was also suprising was how warm the weather was. If I had known, I should have packed shorts and light clothing. Oh well...

This past weekend, I had visited my family, friends, and the local eateries/ shopping centers. Just when I thought I was done shopping for myself, there I am at the check-out counter. And, the amount of food I ate this weekend!!! Aside from the turkey, I also had duck; now there's something different for a main course. But, also, I tried to take hubby and me to different eateries that arent' available here like Del Taco. Yum...

I noticed a lot of the homes had their Christmas tree up and decorated. I guess it's time that I start decorating and mailing out my holiday cards. But, first, I need to unpack and clean up the house a little. I am so tired. I need to recuperate from driving everywhere and eating so much.
