White Elephant

Not bad of a weekend! It was nice and sunny here. A great change from the fog and rain! I attended the Oakland Museum White Elephant Sale. So you can imagine that with great weather, such an event would receive a huge crowd. Even though the sale began at noon, my day started at 9am becasue parking can be troublesome. My first stop at sale was the art section, nothing! Next I went to the dinnerware, and there I found my first Bauer bowls. Two speckled mixing bowls (green and yellow) that nest in one another- perfect fit for the perfect price! My next stop was women's clothing. There I found a few items of clothing- not bad! The lightweight sweater may need a little TLC, but for the price I can't complain- I like it nonetheless! Jewelry would have been nice, but there was no room at the counters. Darn!
