Thanks to all Veterans! For them, I had Friday off. I didn't do much except catch up on chores: laundry, vacuuming, and dishes. Fair enough because on Saturday I spent a good time in my backyard. Funny... I've been doing this for a few years now and yet still I freak out on bugs. I encountered a fairly large, or what I think large, black spider. Spiders are my weakness and I didn't have the courage to just smash it. So, I sprayed it with bug repellent and it still seemed alive. So, next I found an empty plastic container and did my best to trap it. What seemed like forever, I was able to safely trap the spider and throw the whole thing in the garbage. Yuck! And onto my actual project, I repotted my sago palm and sweet peas from seeds. I didn't think they would actually grow into something being that I have had poor luck with other flower seeds. Now, I just need to keep the snails and slugs away from the seedlings.
