a walk in the yard

Right! As if I have a large yard! But, really I walked in my yard today and everything is green and growing. My tulips, hyacinth, and crocus doubled this year and have naturalized. Now, if only my peonies will bloom. I haven't been successful with this plant for the last couple of years. Leave and stems grow, but I never get a bloom; not even a bud. Somehow there is has to be an easier way to avoid window glare, which ends up burning most of my plants. My purple magnolia is in bloom, vibrant as ever. And, I noticed that an Angel's Trumpet cutting is beginning to grow some leaves. A cymbidium might bloom in a month or more. It'll be awhile, but it's all worth it because then the flowers will last a few months. So I need peonies to bloom, magnolia seeds to sprout, and cattleya orchids to grow healthy. In the end, gardening is a work in progress.
