In the last month, DH and I visited my folks in Oxnard. My trips home seem far and few between. Unless if there's an event, like a wedding, then I think I see my parents now about twice a year. So it wasn't too bad to hang out with them for a bit. We shopped, or rather, we walked around the Camarillo Outlets. Not much to buy, but it didn't help that it was HOT.
We attempted the LA Flower Market. Unfortunately, most shops were closed on Sunday. Instead we went to the Los Angeles Cathedral. That was the first time attending mass in a long time.
A couple weeks back, we attempted to walk around San Francisco. That was a short lived trip being that parking and traffic took the bulk of the day. So, we had lunch and did a bit of shopping at the San Francisco Centre. Hopefully, next time we'll choose a better time to travel, walk leisurely, and most of all stressfree. Go BART!
This past weekend, we shopped around for the Iphones. Quite an adventure being that every Apple Store we saw had lines that listed 1-4 hours. We check the website often looking at the dwindling inventory at various Apple locations. So, we bit the bullet and finally waited at Walnut Creek. We had nothing to lose except time. 30+ people in line and an hour, half later we were lucky to receive an Iphone reservation. 48 hours later, we came home with two Iphones. Crazy! So, I've spent some time trying to figure oout what to do and how to do things on the phone. A lot different from the Blackberry.
